In an effort to maintain our registration fees, to provide for additional programing and to provide for our McKnight families in need, McKnight continues to fundraise through the following efforts:
Silent Auction Event - This year's silent auction will be hosted by TGCA. All teams are invited to participate to earn funds for their team. All parents are invited to come out and enjoy the evening with great food and great friends! Silent Auction event is scheduled for November 14, 2015.
Ice Breaker Event - New in 2013! With the decision to alternate the Silent Auction, this event was brought forward to allow members an opportunity to meet off the ice! This event featured a supper, entertainment, and a few fundraising items at the event.
Advertising Sponsorship Program - Come advertise with McKnight! Advertising spots can be purchased from year to year. All money raised will help reduce our costs, and increase our programing. For more information refer to our Sponsorship page.
Year End Gala - This event is geared towards celebrating the season, with a party sometime in February - April! Come out and enjoy the festivities. What happens at the gala, stays at the gala!
Casinos - McKnight will call upon parents to volunteer for our casinos. Casinos come about every 18-21 months. These casinos bring in approximately $60,000+ and are used to pay for our ice costs, which in turn, helps keep our registration fees down. Our next casinos are scheduled for February 21 and February 22, 2016 (CHC) and April-July 2016 TBA (CNC).
Car Raffle - New in 2014! This event is an association wide event, funds raised will be shared between the teams and the association! A win win! A decision to alternate this event each year has been made, with funds earned being allocated over 2 seasons. Next Car Raffle is scheduled for the 2016-2017 hockey season!
