McKnight's Boundaries
McKnight Hockey's registrants must live within the boundaries set out by Hockey Calgary.

Locating your Hockey Canada ID (HCR ID)
Returning Members, use your Respect in Sport account. You will find it in "Profile>Child Management"
HCR (Hockey Canada Registry) ID number is created by completing the Respect in Sport - Parent online course. Once you complete the course, please log in to your RIS-Parent account and the HCR ID is under the Profile tab under the Child Management section.
For returning families with a new player, please add your player to the Profile tab under the Child Management section. You do not need to complete the course again.
This course is valid for 4 years.
New To McKnight?
Includes players transferring from another hockey club or starting hockey for the first time.
DOES NOT INCLUDE siblings of currently registered McKnight players (see above)
Step 1 – Take the Respect in Sport Parent course (there is a fee for this one-hour, online course). Please choose MCKNIGHT as your association not Calgary.
Make note of the Hockey Canada ID (HCR ID) assigned to you upon completion of the course as you will need this for Step 3. Make sure you select “McKnight” as your association!
Step 2 – Complete the McKnight declaration form
Step 3 – Once you receive the approved email, register through the link below
What Program Do I register for?
There are 3 options:
Community Stream for U7-U21 players
House League (NCHL) for U9 and U11 players
Rec Hockey for U13-U21 players
Click below for the comparison of programs. Note that only Community and House League will register with McKnight Hockey. Rec Hockey will register through Hockey Calgary.
AA & AAA Hockey
You must regoster with McKnight BEFORE trying out for Northstars or The Fire.
Trying out for AA or AAA is a separate registration and requires a separate tryout fee.
You will not be charged any registration fees with McKnight at registration.
This "holds" a spot for your player should they not make the Northstars or Fire.
